Begin your journey from Bangalore in the evening. The drive to Somvarpete, the base for the Kumara Parvatha trek, will take approximately 5-6 hours, so make yourself comfortable for the overnight travel. Rest up for the adventure that awaits.
- Early Morning:
- Arrive at Somvarpete early in the morning. Head to the Kumara Parvatha base camp to freshen up and prepare for the trek.
- Enjoy a wholesome breakfast to fuel up for the day’s adventure. Pack a lunch box to carry along for your trek, as you’ll be having lunch at the top with breathtaking views.
- Morning Trek:
- Start your trek to Kumara Parvatha after breakfast. The trail is moderately difficult, winding through dense forests, rocky terrain, and scenic paths. As you ascend, the landscape gradually opens up, offering panoramic views of the Western Ghats.
- The trek is a mix of gradual climbs, rocky patches, and some steep sections. Be prepared for a rewarding challenge as you near the summit.
- Afternoon: Reach the Peak
- By afternoon, you’ll reach the Kumara Parvatha peak, at an altitude of 1,712 meters (5,617 feet). Here, take a well-deserved break to relax and enjoy your packed lunch while soaking in the mesmerizing views of the surrounding valleys, mountains, and forests. The peak offers stunning vistas that make the trek truly worth the effort.
- Descent Back to Base Camp:
- After taking in the views and enjoying your lunch, begin your descent back to the base camp. The way down is equally scenic, and you’ll find the descent a little easier, though it still requires attention to ensure safety on the rocky terrain.
- Evening:
- Arrive back at the base camp by evening. Rest and refresh yourself after the trek.
- Enjoy a warm dinner around the campfire, sharing experiences of the day’s trek with your fellow adventurers.
- Rest for the night at the campsite, ready for the next day’s activities.
- Morning:
- Freshen up and have a nourishing breakfast to start your day.
- Check out from the base camp, and prepare for the next leg of your adventure.
- Visit Mallahalli Falls:
- After checking out, head to Mallahalli Falls, a beautiful and serene waterfall located near the base of Kumara Parvatha. Spend some time here, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and the sight of the cascading water. It’s an ideal spot for a quick refreshment before the journey back.
- Afternoon:
- After visiting Mallahalli Falls, travel towards Mysore. From Mysore, you’ll start your drive back to Bangalore. The journey will take about 3-4 hours, so relax and enjoy the scenic route.
- Evening:
- Arrive in Bangalore by the evening, completing the exhilarating 2-day Kumara Parvatha trek.

- A basic level of fitness is compulsory to undertake this trek.
- Do pay heed to the guidelines given by the instructor.
- Make sure you bring one Xerox copy your ID proof without fail.
- No smoking and consumption of alcohol before or during the activity.
- Carrying jewelers or other valuables is not advisable.
- Do not expect separate accommodation as it is a group trip.
- Drop points will be the pickup points
- Bring your own mask and sanitizer.
- Adventurous trek/trip does NOT come with luxury, so please have the mindset accordingly
- Strictly follow the Reporting time, Program schedule and Instructions given by the Organizers through the entire duration of the program.
- Please don’t throw the plastic and garbage in Forest
- No door drops/pickups.
- No hot water available.
- Sunday dinner will be self-sponsored.
- Event Schedule, route and Plans are subject to change in case of any inconvenience that occurred at the time of tour without any prior intimation. Travelers have to adjust to any such consequence.
Important Advisory
- If cancellations are made 4 days before the start date of the trip, no cancellation fees will be applicable.
- If Cancellations are made within 1-3 days before the start date of the trip, 60% of Total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fee.
- Same Day cancellations are non refundable.
- In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases we will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
